I am a freelance Journalist from Pakistan and have worked on investigative, long-form, Narrative and Profile Stories. I have visited countries like Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon for the freelance work and have talked to people about almost everything, from their political inclinations to their culture and music, but I have always felt that Pakistanis are the best story-tellers. There are stories around us waiting to be told. Be it in the health sector, education or culture – drama, music, theatre, film. There are so many stories in Pakistan that need to be heard. Apart from my freelance work, I am also working as a Sub-Editor at an education portal at Express Tribune, Karachi. My work Experience: My recent work includes a Profile on Hazara Shias of Pakistan which was published in TRT world in April. Another investigative piece I did was on contaminated water bodies in Karachi - It was published in BBC Urdu. I also did a Personal Blog for Tribune on Arbaeen - Iraq. There are more health stories, political news and opinion pieces that were published in local newspapers.
