I'm a freelance sound mixer, field producer, and editor based in Richmond, Virginia. Winner of four regional Emmy Awards with my company, Field Studio, I'm an experienced film professional specializing in social justice and historical documentaries. Our films can be found on Smithsonian Channel, PBS, and Kanopy. Clients include Hulu/ABC, Edutopia, Women's Refugee Commission, University of Virginia, and numerous nonprofits and museums. I love finding great stories, conducting interviews, and capturing clean sound on set. And in post, I'm adept in Premiere and Final Cut Pro. AN OUTRAGE reveals the history and legacy of lynching in the American South. Filmed on-location at lynching sites in six states and bolstered by the memories and perspectives of descendants, community activists, and scholars, the film serves as a hub for action to remember and reflect upon a long-hidden past. Premiered at the Smithsonian Museum of American History, March 2017. Toured to 85 sites in 26 states, March 2017-June 2019.
