About
Since 2004 I have worked as a photographer and Director of Photography. I was based in China for 12 years and am now based in Dubai and Bali. In China I shot the first mainland China entrepreneur to appear on the cover of Forbes magazine (Jack Ma - Alibaba CEO - April 2011 - The Face of China Inc.) and documented the circumnavigation of China, India, and Brazil by motorcycle for the Travel Channel series "Tough Rides" as Director of Photography. In 2016 I climbed Kilimanjaro, hiked through the Atlas Mountains in Morocco, trekked across China's larges desert, while shooting on 5 different continents as DoP for the series "Extreme Treks" now moving into its fourth season with yours truly as the DOP. I recently wrapped the series “Expedition Asia” for Discovery Channel Asia, a 10 episode adventure travel series in Asia. Currently in Dubai and working on projects here and in Saudi Arabia. Wether the story is long or short form, if I believe it is worth telling, I'll see it through.
