Mike Beech is a director, cinematographer, editor, camera operator, drone pilot, and colourist. He has worked in a wide variety of genres including documentary, high-end TVCs, fashion, music videos, broadcast television, travel, corporate and charity projects. He is a Red camera owner and can shoot projects in resolutions up to 5k. Mike has always had a deep passion for cinema and a love of visual art. From the first photo he took as a child on a homemade pinhole camera to shooting a feature-length documentary on a Red, he has always found inspiration in images. His filmmaking career has allowed him to work on projects in over 25 countries globally but the majority of his work takes place in the Middle East and Seoul, South Korea.

A commercial promoting Chinese New Year travel to Dubai. Shot on location over two days in 2019. The film features some of the many tourist sites Dubai the city has to offer and uses innovative editing and camerawork to portray a young family's exciting trip to the region.
A fall/winter video lookbook showcasing IISE's new line of designer streetwear. The brand has drawn on elements of traditional Korean culture and combined these with more modern elements to create a unique and beautiful collection of clothing. The film was featured on HypeBeast and shot on location in Seoul, South Korea.
South Korean teacher Yun Jeong-hyun has been named a top ten finalist for the Global Teacher Prize 2020, in partnership with UNESCO. Now in its sixth year, the US$1 million award is the largest prize of its kind. Jeong-hyun, was shortlisted after being selected from over 12,000 nominations and applications from over 140 countries around the world. Yun Jeong-hyun teaches at the Suncheon Technical High School, Jeollanam-do, South Korea. As director of the automobile department at his high school, he has vastly expanded the range of vocational qualifications that students can take, with various courses on welding, automobile maintenance, construction, Computer Aided Design and 3D scanning within the regular school curriculum. Since many students struggle with time-consuming side jobs to pay for their living expenses and certification fees, Yun Jeong-hyun lends them money that is paid back from wages they receive in future work placements. He has created job clubs focusing on gaining licenses for agricultural machine maintenance, forklift and excavator use, and bulldozer and crane operation – as well as courses for PowerPoint, Excel and Photoshop.
A short documentary made for the US-based company Revival Rugs. Shot on location in a very remote part of southern Morocco, this short film looks into the amazing craftsmanship and dedication of the Berber rug weavers in the region. These incredibly talented people are part of an ancient tradition that still employs centuries-old techniques to produce beautiful and unique handwoven rugs.
