I am an award-winning South African video journalist. I shoot, direct, produce and edit. My work has been broadcast on PBS, TVFrance and Netflix, and screened at film festivals worldwide. For the past twelve years, I have created commissioned films, commercials and branded content for non-profit organizations and foundations, including the Ford Foundation, Terre des Hommes and PEN America. I run a production company, Brava Media, based in Brooklyn, NY.
I was delighted to work with House of SpeakEasy to tell the story of their SpeakTogether initiative, which offers students and teachers opportunities to engage directly with leading writers and performers to experience first-hand the transformative potential of literature.

I directed and produced this short commissioned documentary for Target Margin Theater, to celebrate their 25th anniversary season. Target Margin Theater was founded in 1991 by David Herskovits on the principle that works of art return us to real truths more powerfully by their divergence from a strict illustration of reality.

"The Bullet" is one of 4 short documentaries I made in Brazil, commissioned by Terre des Hommes. I directed, shot and produced "When Children Win”, an award-winning 4-part documentary series about children’s perspectives of the 2016 Olympic games in Brazil and the 2014 Soccer World Cup.
