Hi! I am Chaitali Mitra. My partner Siddharth and I run a production house based in Delhi, India. We, along with our team, have produced several documentaries and commercials from start to finish. We have over 10 years of experience in photography, filmmaking and production. Apart from producing and directing projects together, Siddharth and I, also work on individual projects as a cinematographer/director and photographer/producer respectively. I specialise in portrait and documentary photography. Siddharth specialises in documentaries and aerial cinematography; and has worked as a DOP in projects for National Geographic, History Channel and Discovery India. We want to create more meaningful films because the world needs better heroes.

During the first global lockdown we created a virtual nature walk for WWF India. This video was dubbed in 9 languages. It was showcased to children all over India and was part of an online educational program that WWF was working on.

In October 2019, a group of 11 motorcyclists ventured out on a once in a lifetime experience to ride through the forbidden kingdom of Tibet Autonomous Region and reach the world’s highest monastery Rongbuk at the fabled North Face Base Camp of Mount Everest – a route George Mallory made famous with his attempt to scale the mountain back in 1924. Starting from Kathmandu, they crossed the Nepalese border to ride through the high desolate highlands of Tibet Autonomous Region on their way to Rongbuk. Together they battled the biting chill, the dropping oxygen and their own personal limits, forming friendships for life on the way to the top of the world. We produced this along with Royal Enfield. Our team directed, shot, edited, graded, designed the sound and composed the background tracks.

We produced this advertisement for Royal Enfield when their Himalayan BS6 motorcycle was launched. This was shot in 4 days in the Himalayas during the winter of 2020. We shot amidst heavy snowfall and closed roads with a crew of 40.
