Excellent camera work. Efficient. Flexible. We hired Sankalp Baheti to film for different media types for two days after the G20 summit in New Delhi. It was challenging to select the right person because we needed somebody who could do a news television package with a quick turn-around time, the core elements of a short documentary that require creative vision, television feature stories, and cute social media elements. My biggest fear was hiring a celebrated documentarist who would spend too much time finding the right shot when I needed to meet the deadline or a tired television hand with zero imagination. We couldn`t have done better than Sankalp. On top of the excellent camera work with high-quality equipment and a professional crew, he demonstrated fantastic flexibility and imagination with different approaches to different media types. He filmed and video-edited a decent news story in under three hours. Sankalp suggested several ideas for social media and original video sequences for the documentary. He was fully engaged in every element of the work, in effect also assuming the responsibilities of a local producer. I enjoyed working with Sankalp and am happy with the outcome - we are definitely hiring him again when filming in the region.
