I am a documentary photographer and visual artist trained in social sciences. I have the ability to generate bonds of trust with those who star in the stories I tell. My approaches focus on Human Rights, gender and anti-racism. I like to tell timeless, long-term stories whose center has everyday influences in the community. I feel summoned by issues about the environment and its relationship with people. I have experience in covering events and news. I feel comfortable taking portraits, and I prefer to do them with natural light. I published photographs in media such as the American news agency Bloomberg, El País in Spain, The Guardian in the United Kingdom, Der Spiegel in Germany, Liberation in France and others. I won a National Geographic scholarship with Ruda, the collective of Latin American female photographers based in 8 countries, of which I am the founder. Amnesty International Paraguay gave me the Peter Benenson award for journalism committed to Human Rights. I have experience as a fixer. I produce and direct audiovisual documentaries. In Paraguay he co-founded a multimedia production company called La fresco storytelling. Before dedicating myself to storytelling, I graduated with a degree in Social Work.

Though the mango tree is more appreciated for the shade of its lush foliage than for its fruits in Paraguay, the green balls that hang from innumerable branches over Asunción, the capital, have stubbornly begun their yearly swelling. Alongside them, the blossoms of the tajy and jacaranda trees add explosions of color, painting streets pink, white, yellow, and lilac. The hues and aromas maintain a slim veil of provincial life over a city in the midst of rapid growth, and searching for infrastructure, justice, and balance.

The Paraguayan Chaco is a hidden treasure. Vast lands populated in some parts by indigenous communities, in others by agribusiness companies, where deforestation advances like violence, by leaps and bounds, and peace is negotiated with promises. The last: eucalyptus. Trees that offer a few pesos but consume a lot of water in a place where it is not abundant. An absent state, a foundation, indigenous leaders and assassinations: in this chronicle, voices are raised so that the mountain does not dry out and justice begins to be sowed.
