Umut Sakallioglu has graduated from Marmara Unıversity, Department of Fine Arts in 2010. His projects were screened at Rotterdam Film Festival, Tokyo Film Festival, and many other platforms. Sonbahar, Gelecek Uzun Sürer, Saroyan Ülkesi, Kalandar Soğuğu, Babamın Kanatları are among his feature film projects. His work also includes documentaries, tv shows, commercials and fashion films. Having experience for more than ten years, Umut Sakallıoğlu was awarded the best film editor in, İstanbul Film Festival, Adana Film Festival and Ankara Film Festival.
