Journalist forover 14 years. In the past eight years, I've been working for the Argentine press (also as international correspondent for Brazilian and foreign media outlets), in Clarin in Portuguese, where I have been editor and reporter since 2013, and Buenos Aires Herald of Grupo Ámbito Financiero, where I was international and local editor, as well as reporter (from 2011 to 2013). I have also contributed as editor and special reporter for the online newspaper The Bubble, written in English in online editions. While in Argentina, I have also contributed on several occasions as a freelance reporter and producer for Brazilian TVs such as Globo, SportTV and SBT, as well as for Valor Econômico and Uol. Presidential visits, international forums and summits, local, regional and global sporting events, as well as major events in the region such as presidential elections, air, rail and sea tragedies and major events in the recent history region. For 5 years, I wrote a column for Globo's blog and then from Veja magazine, and I have extensive experience in national and international press advisory services. I also worked as a freelancer for some main communication agencies in the country, having served as press officer for some of Brazilian government agencies, ministries and the Brazilian Presidency. Fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish, I have lived in the United States, Spain and Argentina. I am also comfortable working in teams or solo and also in leading and subordinate positions. I am also acquainted with a variety of news covering subjects ranging from economics, politics, society to literature and arts. During 2018, besides being an editor for Clarín in Portuguese, I also took leaves of absence to work as a freelance journalist for the Brazilian Presidency International Press Department and the Ministry of Science, Technology, Innovation and Communications, amongst other freelance assignments including working with variety of international media outlets such as CBS, for instance, where I worked as producer for Good Morning America, on a freelance basis in May of 2019.
Like a modern Pompeii, people were swept away by a wave of thick debris and mud with no time to escape, their bones crushed in what seems to be the worst environmental disaster in Brazilian history. The silence afterward was overwhelming. Although all hospitals in the region were on a high alert, few victims actually made it to the emergency rooms.
