Madeeha Anwar is a Multimedia Journalist and a Web Editor with the Voice of America. Madeeha started her journalistic career in Pakistan with ARY News (formerly ARY One World). She worked as a News Reporter and Producer at ARY’s Lahore bureau while completing her Masters degree in Mass Communication from Punjab University. Later on she moved to Dubai to join the ARY headquarter as a news anchor. Madeeha’s next move in her career was to become the part of the pioneering team for Express News. She was based in Islamabad bureau and covered important political activities and parliament proceedings in town. Madeeha joined VOA Urdu’s TV team in 2008 which was responsible for producing half an hour daily show ‘Khabron Se Aage’. She combined her skills as an anchor, a reporter and a producer on the show. She became a Web Editor for UrduVOA.com in 2012.
