Eric Murangwa was just 21 years old when the 1994 genocide in Rwanda took place. Like the entire Tutsi population of Rwanda Eric and his family were marked to be killed by Hutu rebels. However, Eric had a larger target placed on his back as at the time he was the captain of the Rwandan national football team. Managing to escape death and flee to the UK Eric now promotes peace through football.
