I am an award-nominated freelance multimedia journalist. My work has been published in multiple international news organizations including The Associated Press, National Geographic, The New York Times, Al Jazeera English and the BBC. I am currently based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, with Agence France-Presse.
I covered the House Bill 2 in North Carolina, which required people to use public bathrooms that match their birth gender. For this story I brought in 8 transgender people in the studio and interviewed them, asking how they felt about this bill and how it affected their lives.
I filmed and produced this piece on a Marine veteran who went to Iraqi Kurdistan to fight ISIS with the Kurdish Peshmerga. It was published on the front page of the New York Times.

I co-shot and co-edited this documentary and sold it to Al Jazeera English. It was nominated in the ‘Best Video Journalism’ Category at the Drum Online Media Awards in June 2016 and screened at DOC NYC in the fall of 2015. It received over 14 million views on YouTube alone and was aggregated around the world.
