Shwe Paw Mya Tin is a freelance photojournalist/fixer/ translator with 6 years of experience in the journalism field. She started her journalism career in 2015. In 2017, she started working as a photojournalist at Myanmar Pressphoto Agency, and her works have been featured in online media, local newspapers, and magazine publications. She is mainly interested in social, environmental, sports, and human rights issues. She is currently working as a freelance photographer and providing photographs for international news agencies, NGOs, INGOs, local publications, and independent researchers. She joined Reuters news agency as a stringer photographer and covered Myanmar general and the military coup. She is an alumnus of National Geographic Myanmar Photo camp, National Geographic Global Photo camp, and Foundry Photojournalism Workshop. Her works were exhibited with fellow photojournalists at WARM Festival in Sarajevo, Bosnia, and Herzegovina.
