A filmmaker and screenwriter based in New Delhi, I find purpose in telling stories of human experiences, to weave magic from within the mundane. An alumnus of AJK MCRC, Jamia Millia Islamia, I have worked extensively as a scriptwriter, director, producer, associate director, project manager and post-production supervisor in creating short films across non-fiction and fiction formats for a spectrum of clients in the development and corporate sector for themes ranging from education, health and sustainability to women empowerment and gender justice. Deriving enriching and varied experiences of content creation by working with advertising and film professionals for over 9 years, I have developed a keen sense of telling evocative stories specially designed for the requirement of the medium or format. I collaborate with a mix of experienced industry professionals – cinematographers, editors, directors, actors, who bring their technical expertise and unique aesthetic sensibilities to the table to create films that are memorable.
Believing in the power of stories in making a difference to the lives of underserved children, Katha has been working with a unique pedagogy to help them imagine and explore the world around them. Katha’s work spanning three decades has empowered thousands of children to write their own story. This film weaves the narrative of Katha's inspiring initiative.
This is a concept pitch video we produced for the popular insecticide brand, 'Hit'. A play on the word ‘keeda’ (which literally translates to an ‘insect’), this tongue in cheek TVC builds on the catchy copy and relatable situations of Hit’s existing TVCs. We took the recall value of the brand a step ahead with a simple quirk of a common man.

To this irresistible brief from The Hunger Project, we travelled to Uttarakhand, Bihar and Odisha to meet 4 extraordinary women as they're breaking caste and gender barriers to usher in thriving futures!
