I am an American photographer and journalist based in Erbil, Iraq. The focus of my work is on humanitarian issues throughout the Middle East, with an emphasis on war and conflict. After relocating to Erbil in 2015, my focus has been communities disrupted by the Islamic State and the impact of war on Iraqi society. I am a Frontline Freelance Register member and a 2016 RISC XII Alumni. Clients: The Wall Street Journal, The New Yorker, Le Figaro, Le Monde, Al Jazeera English, USA Today, The Telegraph Magazine, The National, European Press Agency, and others. I have shot video news packages for MSNBC, Fusion TV, Al Jazeera Plus, Discovery Digital Network, the United Nations and others.
