About
Jamiu Olatunji Shoyode holds a certificate in design for New Media from School of Media and Communications of the Pan African University now Pan Atlantic University and a Certificate in Production/Project Management from Higher College of Technology, Dubai. He studied Mass Communications from Lagos State Polytechnic, Lagos. He wrote and directed a short film Aliyah’s Wish (2017), Produced Dear Affy (2020), Co-produced The Griot ( 2021) which won the best Film at the Africa International Film Festival. He has also served as Line Producer on several international award winning projects including The Brave Ones (Netflix 2023), Movistar+’s Spanish Television Series La Unidad (2021), Netflix’s Spanish Television Series, Sky High (2022), Netflix (Num.4 Worldwide) The Black Book (2023), I did not come to you by Chance (2023)which is premiered in TIFF and Rotterdam. He co-curated the Bem- Vindo a’ Nollywood in Brazil. He has passion and focus for alternative African story telling.
