About
Dani Azul graduated in Audiovisual, year 2012 from UNB. She worked as an electrician, then 2nd assistant camera, and followed as 1st assistant camera participating in short film projects, feature films, documentaries and advertising films. In 2013 he made the Dir. of photography for the short Fragmentos directed by António Balbino, then the short O Balãozinho Azul by Fáuston Silva. The two films were selected for the Mostra Brasília at the FBCB, and was awarded the Best Cinematography Award at the Mostra Brasília for Fragmentos. In 2014, she made Meio-Fio by Denise Vieira and received the award for Best Cinematography at the Brasília Show in 2014. She is currently Director of Photography for the feature documentary Terra de Luz, 2016, directed by Marcelo Dias, short film Para Minha Gata Mieze , 2018 by Wesley Gondim; Up, 2018 by Daniella Cronemberge; Menstruating Prisoners by Alisson Sbrana. All were selected at FBCB. In 2019, the telefilm Super Panc me, by Marcus de Oliveira, the feature-length documentary Afeminadas by Wesley Gondim. In 2020, the short documentaries Aquilo que não pode de demolimos while I can speak, directed by Marcelo Dias and Custódia, directed by Vinicius Sassine and directing the documentary Jardim Piloto.

Gradually, she can remember what happened. || The film was part of the official selection of the Festival de Gramado, the Festival Internacional do Rio and the Festival de Brasília (Mostra Brasília). He also competed at the Curta Brasília Festival, where he received the award for best short film from the Associação Brasiliense de Cinema e Vídeo (ABCV), and was part of the Shorts Film Corner, a side event for short films at the Cannes Film Festival.
