Hello, My name is Jay James and I've been working in the visual medium for more than 6 years. My main skill is boom operator, sound recording and when it is needed I can do Foley. It all began with assisting my videographer friend on commercial jobs for businesses around North Carolina. It was just simple grip work but I enjoyed being apart of the projects. Eventually my same friend began to do documentaries and later feature films, which is where I started to help with sound. To date I have assisted in capturing audio for seven featured films for him. Along the way I have worked on other feature films, corporate projects and commercials. Because of these opportunities I am able to own all my equipment and be proficient in using it. I really look forward in joining the Storyhunter community and sharing my talent.
