Working with Tortugas Al Viento Producciones was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. The team was talented, creative, professional, punctual, thoughtful and fun. I would highly recommend working with them, and personally hope I can hire them again someday soon.

This shooting was really hard because of the conditions of the place -a dog shelter- and the fact that there were a lot of dogs playing around, but Pablo and Sarah did their job professionally, they gave ideas to improve the script and make the storytelling more coherent.

Tortugas al Viento did a great job despite the fact that this story was planned in such short notice. The visuals and sound were great as always and they went the extra mile by doing some additional interviews (besides the ones that were already planned)

They have found in music a way to say the things that other people don´t speak about. Dayra is a hip hop singer who lives in Ecatepec, the most dangerous place to live in Mexico being a woman. Her songs are about violence and women's fight, but she decided to go further. She is organizing self defense workshops so women can be ready to defend themselves in any harassment or violent situation they face.

Axolotl is an endemic species of Xochimilco´s channels. This amphibians are very related with mexican culture (deity related with movement and life). Nowadays they are in danger of extinction because of the channels´ pollution and the over - exploitation (as a pet and because of "magic" and healing uses)
