Greenville, South Carolina is addressing domestic violence head-on with the community joining in to read a letter that a young survivor shared with them. This fundraising video has brought in the money needed for Safe Harbor to build a new shelter for families.
The International Rescue Committee partnered with Arizona State University to pull a group of ~67 young Afghan women students out of Afghanistan and into the classroom at Arizona State University. This is the story of that unique co-sponsorship, one that we hope will encourage other universities to form similar programs.
