George Buid is a freelance photographer and journalist based in Metro Manila, Philippines. His work has been published in Zuma Press, Orato World media, Business Mirror, InterAksyon, PETS International magazine, and other news outlet. He is a self-taught photographer who started his career in photojournalism and visual documentary storytelling in 2014. He won an award in 1st place for "Where Your Taxes Goes" photography contest in 2021. He focuses on culture, lifestyle, fashion, environment, human interest, current news, and documentary in both visual and written stories. Yet, he occasionally writes and covers science, history, sports, politics, and art. George continuously works on personal projects but is also always open to assignments.
