Gentry is a Texas-native documentary filmmaker with a background in humanitarian stories. Her work has been awarded Best Cinematography, Best Documentary Short at the Austin Under the Stars Film Festival and WorldFest. She currently works as an independent producer, director and editor for documentary, commercial, and corporate film projects. She is in pre-production on NBC's Rebecca Davis' feature-length documentary, UNRAVELING AMERICA. Gentry earned her Bachelor of Science in Advertising from The University of Texas at Austin, and she is currently working on a Master's Degree in American Journalism at New York University.
