Born and raised in Denver, Michael has had a passion for storytelling his entire life. He is the Founder + Creative Director of 6162 Productions. For over a decade, Michael has been working professionally in the communications and video industry. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Film/Video Production from Regis University in conjunction with Colorado Film School. Michael’s work has been featured on a national scale and has been the recipient of numerous awards in the field. Michael specializes in concept development, video production, and digital media for public and nonprofit organizations creating emotive content to enable their missions primarily in Denver and Seattle. He has produced projects in other cities across the United States as well. 6162 Productions specializes in human-centered storytelling that creates strong, emotional connections between brands and consumers.
We created this video to help launch a capital campaign for the Denver Zoo called "Into the Great Wild Open." The video tells a story from a child's perspective about how valuable the Zoo is to the Denver community and beyond through its conservation efforts.
When SketchUp, a premier 3D design software product, was preparing to unveil its iPad app, they came to us to produce the launch video. They wanted a creative way to show their current and prospective customers the new app and how it allows you to design on-the-go. We made a designer the “hero” of the video and illustrated a common architectural design project pain point: you hit a creative block while sitting at your desk and need to step out of the office and reset.
A personal injury law firm came to us looking for a creative idea to launch its new SettleUp software platform. We created this 1970s-style dating game show concept, comparing big law firms and heartless insurance agencies to their solution.
This brand video for Safeco Insurance's Independent Agent Giving program shows how working as an independent agent allows you to give back to your community by partnering with local nonprofit organizations. Our team wrote the script, did the concept development, filmed, edited, and oversaw the entire production. We filmed in an office setting and composited images of community service work onto screens to depict how independent insurance agents' work reaches beyond the office.
