About
Joy Le Li is a Brooklyn based video producer/director. She also frequently travels to China for documentary projects. Over the past 10 years, she has worked as a freelancing producer/fixer for many documentaries on different media, including HBO, PBS, CNN films, ESPN, Channel Four etc. In addition, she has made two independent documentaries which aired many networks in Asia including NHK and CCTV. Since 2017, Joy started to direct/produce/edit short documentaries. Joy holds a BA from Yokohama National University in Japan and a MIA from Columbia University in New York city. She is fluent in Chinese, English and Japanese.
