He is a film producer, director and director of photography. Ersen Kiyga was born 1982 in Adana, Turkey and studied journalism at the Marmara University. He started his professional career as an assistant news producer at the NTV news channel in 2001. He then joined public broadcast channel TRT as a cameraman and producer. He also worked at the Al Jazeera Turk as a director of photography. His work there saw him cover wars in Libya and Syria and interviewed with Kaddafi. He has been involved in the production various feature documentary films.
