I work full time as a freelance Director of Photography on agency / commercial / corporate / digital journalism projects, and I've shot / directed five feature-length documentary films with national broadcast TV credits. Versatility is key: I am proficient as a one-man band or leading larger crews on higher budget projects. FAA Part 107 certified drone pilot with Mavic 2 Pro Kit. With over twenty years of experience working in locations across America and around the world, I'm very dedicated to the craft of filmmaking and enthusiastic about finding and telling stories. I cultivate a curiosity and interest in various topics including politics, American history, urban design, environment, religion, food, community and culture. In particular, I have a passion for stories relating to unique American subcultures, cities and architecture, underdogs and comebacks.
