This mini doc was produced for the UN organisation Sustainable Energy For All for an upcoming event in October/November 2015. Based almost entirely on archival material, the narrative focuses on the challenges of limited acces to energy and the possible solutions to it.

After a decade of civil war, Liberia is slowly becoming a functioning state once again. But evidence of the wars are all over. Ten years on, the power infrastructure that should provide normal living conditions for all are still far from achieving that. Without energy you cannot heal the sick, without energy you cannot study and without knowledge ultimately, you can not rule a country.

"Postcard from Paradise" is the flip side of the beautiful imagery that we know as the Maldives. The island chain lack a functioning waste management system and as a result South East Asia's richest nation is now severely polluted endangering the fragile eco-system and the tourism industry that is the very basis of their wealth.
