I grew up in Long Beach California. Later I moved to Hawaii and earned a BFA in Graphic design at the University of Hawai’i Manoa. After college I moved back to California and was hired for a start up company, TOM’s Shoes, as their in house graphic designer. From there I worked as the web photo editor for American Apparel. After 5 or so years behind a computer making layouts, graphic designs and retouching countless photos, I wanted to get out of the office and pursue photography in the creative environment. So I packed up and moved to New York to immerse myself in the world of fashion photography and studio lighting. I lived in New York for 9 years and worked as a photo assistant, digital tech and lighting tech for some of the world's leading fashion and advertising photographers. Now I am back living in Hawaii applying all the skills I have learned to my photography.
