About

I am a young media professional with an education background in Sociology (Miranda House, University of Delhi) and Broadcast Journalism (Asian College of Journalism). I started my career with a show for Fox Traveller, What's with Indian Women, which sought to break-through myths and stereotypes Indian women confront in their daily lives. I then moved to Newslaundry where I mainly directed interviews with personalities such as Jeffrey Archer, Arvind Kejriwal, Sanjoy Roy while also writing articles for the online news portal. Since then, I have worked on feature programming for NDTV in varying capacities such as Assistant Director, Post-Production Supervisor and Scriptwriter. I have also created art-installations for the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts and documented events in the my city, Delhi. I hope to continue working on visual installations while moving away from the television format of non-fiction story-telling and making documentaries.
