Graduated from Bangladesh Agricultural University in 2012, with a dream to be a filmmaker, Mezanur Rahman started his job as a Video Editor at Counter Foto in 2013. In this emerging art school at Dhaka, Mezanur worked for its Audio-Visual Department where he also gets hands-on training as a cinematographer. Mezanur made three (3) short documentaries and collaborated in multiple projects. ‘Santal… The songs of Arrows’ are one of his remarkable works that is centered on land grabbing in the Santal Community of Bangladesh. Santal is an ethnic minority of Bangladesh. “The price of Land” is the director's first feature documentary.
