Freelance video journalist living and working in Johannesburg, South Africa. I take documentary projects from concept through to completion. I research, produce, direct, shoot and edit. I cut my teeth producing documentary content for the South African Broadcasting Corporation.
Short video I produced, shot and edited with DMV rapper, GoldLink, at Echo Park's Echoplex. We teamed up with Soulection for GoldLink's LA debut at their monthly "The Sound of Tomorrow" party.

Dr. Waheeda Amien is an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa, a Senior Lecturer in Law at the University of Cape Town and an expert in Muslim Personal Law. She is a co-founder of Shura Yabafazi (Consultation of Women), a South African NGO that focuses on women’s rights in Islamic law and is the Chairperson of the Recognition of Muslim Marriages Forum.
