SOPHIE ROUSMANIERE - Producer/Director
Sophie Rousmaniere has worked as a filmmaker and freelance journalist in the US, Canada, India, Indonesia, Mexico, Guatemala, Pakistan, Laos, Vietnam, Cameroon and Thailand. When not producing video content, advertisements and music videos, Sophie’s work is largely social issue based. She has worked on topics from child prostitution in Thailand to theater for change in Pakistan. Her first one-hour documentary, “Yellow Fever – Uncovering the Navajo Uranium Legacy” aired on 137 channels on PBS’s World Channel in the series “America Reframed” in March 2015. She is the executive director of Issue Television, a media for education non-profit 501c3 organization.
