Freelance filmmaker based in Brighton. I believe that film, as a form of art, provides a chance to express emotions, thoughts, ideologies, and all sort of issues that could be significant on the personal as well as societal level. I’m fascinated by the process of piecing scenes together to visually narrate a story.
Rayyan Abdulwahed, a 29-year-old dentist who decided to quit his job and travel the world to see what it has to offer. During his trip, he volunteered as a dentist at Health Point Foundation in Greece for a few months, where he encountered refugees from countries like Afghanistan and Syria. During his journey through South America, I decided to join him and document his way of living.
Cole was setting up a pop-up shop in Nottingham and wanted to document the process. I took this opportunity to give the viewers a decent idea of how his past influenced his current work. An interview was conducted, but the client decided to cut his screen time down, hence his voice over was used to narrate his story.
