Hello my name is Derrick LaMere and I am a Native Filmmaker from Spokane Washington by way of the Colville Indian Reservation. With my company War Pony Pictures, I have produced the award winning documentaries "United by Water", "Makwa Jiimaan". Currently I am working on a hour long documentary with The Colville Confederated Tribes on the history, declared extinction and the reemergence of Arrow Lakes band.

This was a freelance project I worked on with Stacey Thunder for Vision Maker Media. I was brought on to shoot the interviews and was later brought on to edit the project for broadcast.
