His use of various techniques to tell compelling stories has helped bring cultures and societal values ignored or long forgotten to fore. He is a graduate of EbonyLife Creative Academy where he studied directing. He also leads the team at Blackmoor Media Republic. His works are described as a body of imaginative instruments channelled to change the narrative on core societal issues. He relentlessly unearths issues, values and cultures that hold the society together especially those that threaten to pull it apart. Olalekan Olafusi currently lives and works in Lagos, Nigeria
