Peta is a versatile producer / video journalist based in Malaysia specialising in cross cultural immersive storytelling. For her VJ work she uses a Canon C100 with pro audio/lighting and a DJI Phantom 4 drone. For her VR/360 video work she uses an Instapro360. She is Founder and Senior Producer at immersive story agency Maitree House, where she oversees production and direction of new narrative projects for clients and broadcast across the Asia Pacific. Peta has a background in development communications / media for change and she regularly facilitates media training programs in development settings to build community capacity. She is a versatile and diplomatic communicator adept at developing and producing projects in multicultural /multilingual environments.

A 6 month filmmaking program for young people in the NT of culturally diverse backgrounds resulted in this inspiring musical documentary celebrating the courage and resilience of young people and families from diverse cultural backgrounds now living in Australia.
Little Wings was produced as five separate stories and as one 27-min film to support the work of the Indian NGO Tomorrows Foundation.. The short shown here is the story of Barkha, an 18-year old woman orphaned when she was very young and left to fend for herself and her two sisters. She now lives in Uttaran – a residential home run by Tomorrow’s Foundation in Chhattisgarh Province, central India.
Rising Tide is an historical walking tour app taking you on a unique 11 km walk around the beautiful foreshore areas of the Parramatta River in the City of Canada Bay and Ryde. The journey takes you back in time to explore the stories of the people and places who played a significant role in Australia’s efforts in the second world war.
