We visualized this aspect of life under Israeli military occupation with Premiere Urgence Internationale, who has been monitoring incidents of Israeli settler violence for a decade. Ibriq is a Qatari-based art collection initiative, carefully curated by Noora, showcasing hand-made artworks from all over the world. The name Ibriq (an Arabic word meaning pitcher) is chosen because during her childhood in Lebanon, Noora saw that every house had a pitcher on the window, put there for any passer-by to drink from. The brand offers unique, standout pieces, that elevate any home, and fill up the eyes with joy when seen, much like the pitcher on the window back in Lebanon. Here, I was asked to create an animation to tell its origin story.
