About Eli

Storytelling is my tool to share everyday moments, showcase unfamiliar cultures and to battle division and differences with truth and empathy for others. However, I also perceive the world through the lens of a geographer and I’m fascinated by how economic, political and cultural structures affect the autonomy of individuals and societies. It’s no wonder why I’m drawn to themes such as immigration, universal healthcare, climate change, environmental justice, human rights and access to education. When I’m not envisioning a better world, you can find me learning a new language, climbing trees, playing a classic rock song or letting loose on the dance floor.

We had a last minute shoot that had a lot of moving parts and plenty of travel. Eli was excellent to work with as always. He was incredibly attentive and brought a much needed creative eye to our production. Looking forward to the next one!

Eli did a great job in covering an ongoing story in Manila. He engaged very well with the audience, provided great footage and audio, sourced interesting voices, and gave continuous context to what was unfolding.

Eli was a total professional. Worked very well and on the fly on a shoot that required a lot of thinking on his feet. Highly recommended.
