DW - The risky task of controlling the Amazon forest
I spent a week with Brazilian federal agents in charge of controlling illegal logging and mining in the Amazon forest. We faced many obstacles and violent reaction from the illegal workers in a gold mine. I was the only video reporter on board.

He invented a lamp which changed the world
Alfredo Moser is a Brazilian mechanic who invented in 2001 a very simple lamp which changed the daily life of many poor people around the world. I visited him in his home town, Uberaraba, and talked to him about his invention. I was curious to know if he was aware that his lamp is being used in many poor neighborhoods around world.
