I am a documentary filmmaker based in Tokyo. I majored in comparative politics at Princeton University. My latest documentary film "Tomorrow We Will See" highlights how 10 artists in Lebanon challenge sectarian divides. This documentary has been shown in film festivals such as National Geographic All Roads Film Festival 2010 and will air on DR, a Danish television broadcasting station in May 2015. I have experience directing and producing finance news programs called Asia Biz Forecast NHK World. I directed a short documentary on a 69-year-old DJ for VICE Japan. I speak Japanese and English fluently. I can have basic conversations in Portuguese and Spanish.
Tomorrow We Will See offers a window into Lebanon’s flourishing creative culture through the perspective of ten Lebanese artists. In their own artistic ways, they have overcome decades of social and political instability and the uncertainties of what tomorrow may bring.

This is a presentation trailer of my latest documentary that attempts to decode Noh theater (ancient Japanese theater) through the eyes of Naotomo Umewaka, a young man born into this cultural heritage and torn about pursuing this art form. I hope to get into production of this documentary by December 2015. This project won the Asian Dramatic TV Award at Tokyo Docs Forum 2013.
