I am a South Africa based producer / director with 30 years experience producing short features, documentaries and long-form series for local and international broadcasters. Currently producing for CNN, SABC and DSTV. Over 3000 productions under my belt. I am owner of Hooper Productions, and also produce and direct for Moksham Productions.
Waardevol is a 23 minute x 13 episode series produced for the Afrikaans TV channel kykNET which broadcasts on the DSTV satellite platform. The series looks at innovative ways to save money.

Yswara Teas was founded in 2012 by former corporate executive Swaady Martin, who is personally involved in the creation of all the recipes. The company currently exports to 16 countries, and has two product ranges… Yswara, a selection of 27 varieties of hand-blended teas and teatime accessories
Maatband is a health and beauty series produced for kykNET, an Afrikaans channel on the DSTV satellite platform in South Africa. Each episode is 23 minutes, with 104 episodes produced to date. The show is extremely popular and attracts the highest audience share in its timeslot.

We produce for the half-hour documentary strand on CNNI called Inside Africa. This episode a rich kaleidoscope of cultural diversity finds expression in dance in South Africa. From a township project that educates young minds by merging and contrasting world rhythms, to a local dance theater infusing traditional tribal moves with eastern flair, and a modern re-telling of a great English classic

A 3 x 48 minute series on climate change produced for the SABC. We are in a critical time in the history of our species on this planet where there is more than ample evidence to suggest that if we don’t figure out how to live well, then there’s a good chance we will go extinct as a species and probably take a whole lot of other species down with us.
