Supriya Kantak poses as a photographer so that she can travel. She started off as a journalist with publications by the Times of India and DNA Mumbai for over seven years. She moved on to travel photojournalism, shooting extensively for the Indian editions of National Geographic Traveller and Lonely Planet Magazine. She now focuses more on a documentary style of photography that captures the mood and process of filmmaking and theatre.
