Jihan Hafiz is an Egyptian, Samoan born in California and raised between Cairo and Washington, D.C. Her life’s work as a filmmaker and journalist span world events from the Egyptian Revolution, wars in Libya and Palestine, borders and immigration, to Indigenous and Black uprisings across the United States and Latin America, elections and womens rights. She’s won multiple awards for her work in visual storytelling, including an Emmy (2013), the NABJ award (2015), two Bronze Telly Awards, Indigenous Music Awards Best Music video and nominated for the Rory Peck and Livingston Awards. Her films have screened at film festivals across the world and aired on international and national networks. Over the past decade, Jihan has worked as a television reporter, international news anchor, film and news producer, director, cinematographer, on-air talent, field reporter, investigator, and content creator. She works as both a one-woman-band and with major crews of up to 50 crew members, in some cases assisting production crews with moving film equipment and members across international borders. Jihan is a proud member and founder of GenderWars – an internationals women’s collective dedicated to participating in self-defense against deadly sexual assault. Once upon a time based in Cairo, Brussels, Madrid, Havana and Salvador da Bahia, Jihan is a journalism mentor, former dance professor, and trilingual in Arabic, English and Portuguese. She is currently based out of New Orleans in the bayou state of Louisiana.

Lily is a filmmaker and educator based in New Orleans. Her directorial debut, Bayou Maharajah, premiered at SXSW in 2013 and has since won many awards including the Oxford American Award for Best Southern Film and Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities’ Documentary Of The Year. She has produced for Arcade Fire, Beyoncé, and Preservation Hall. Her films have covered the Department of Homeland Security's policy of family detention, prison conditions in Gaza and the deteriorating environment of the Gulf Coast. Lily is a co-founder of New Orleans Video Voices, a women-led collective dedicated to increasing media literacy across the Gulf South. In 2015, she was commissioned by Time Inc. and Field Office Films (producer of Beasts Of The Southern Wild) to contribute to their coverage of Hurricane Katrina’s 10-year anniversary. The resulting film, Everything Is To Be Continued, exposes how Black working musicians have been excluded from New Orleans’ economic recovery. Lily’s second feature documentary Buckjumping premiered in October 2018 to the largest audience ever assembled at the New Orleans Film Festival. Her work has appeared on ARTE, HBO, MTV News, Time, Al-Jazeera English, Democracy Now!, Sundance DocClub, Hulu, Netflix, iTunes, Electronic Intifada and PBS. Lily is a member of the Grammys, Film Fatales New Orleans, a former board member of WIFT-Louisiana and of the Patois Human Rights Film Festival. She is on the Community Advisory Board of WWOZ and is a member of Alternate ROOTS. Lily a founding member of the All-Yall Film Collective of Southern filmmakers.

While living in Chicago during the early 2000's Declan started field-producing episodic documentaries for WTTW, the Travel Channel, and FOX, then shot two successful auto racing docs, FOUR BANGERS and TRAILER RACER. in 2003 he completed ULBERT, an award-winning documentary on bipolar disorder. In 2012 Declan produced and shot New Orleans Documentary SHELL SHOCKED, where he now lives. He has since been producer for Jack Newell's OPEN TABLES and 42 GRAMS. Abby Berendt Lavoi is a nationally recognized Producer, receiving awards and honors from the New York Television Festival, the Telly Awards, PromaxBDA, Broadcast Education Association, Colorado State Alumni Association, and the Seattle International Film Festival/Skateboard Film Festival. Katie Mathews is a filmmaker and cultural anthropologist based in New Orleans. She has experience in production management, directing, and editing, but her primary passion is creative producing documentary and hybrid films. Most recently, Katie directed and produced the POST COASTAL, a series of documentary shorts about coastal communities’ response to land loss in Louisiana, funded by the National Endowment for the Arts and in partnership with the Smithsonian and Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities. She is currently producing MOSSVILLE, a documentary feature currently in post production, that explores the psychological trauma of community displacement at the hands of the petrochemical industry, and is developing ROLEPLAY, feature documentary about performance and vulnerability. Prior to her work in film, Katie worked as an anthropologist and ethnographer at global design firm IDEO, where she led qualitative research, using individual stories to inspire new systems in education and the public sector. Katie holds a BA in Communications from Northwestern University and has completed continuing education work at the Duke University Center for Documentary Studies and in Cultural Anthropology at the University of Chicago. Additionally, Katie teaches Research Methods in Social Innovation at Tulane University, and is currently leading a research and documentary project around sexual assault with students on Tulane’s campus.

Marcus is a Louisiana filmmaker who has had a hand in several areas of production from local tv spots to Hollywood South films. A New Orleans native and St. Augustine alum, he finished college at LSU receiving his Bachelor's in the area of Communication Studies while working with Tiger TV news and sports, as well as, several LSU theatre and media productions. He's worked in the Louisiana film industry since 2013 and have been apart of over 15 film and television projects during that time. He recently produced, directed, and shot an episode of BetteR, a documentary web series produced by NOVAC, which highlights groups and individuals in the Baton Rouge community in the aftermath of the events of the summer of 2016. The episode focuses on the internal and external struggles of media members, specifically WAFB Channel 9 in Baton Rouge, during the city’s most trying time and national spotlight. What started out as a simple short documentary episode, now has grown into a feature-length project, which is currently in production.

Spencer is a two-time Emmy Award & two-time Peabody Award winning producer, director, writer and showrunner with fifteen years of television and film experience. Recently, he’s produced a range of multimedia and television projects for outlets such as TIME, ABC and A&E Television. His main areas of interest include history, politics and sports. Airing in February & March 2023 on MSNBC, Spencer was the co-executive producer for “When Truth Isn't Truth: The Rudy Giuliani Story.” The four part series produced by TIME Studios explored Giuliani’s dramatic fall from grace, how little he changed in between and the forging of our nation’s “post-truth” era. Also at TIME & MSNBC Films, Spencer produced “Split Screen” with Trevor Noah, a documentary exploring the history of disinformation in American media and the alternate realities now dividing our political landscape. In 2021, Spencer was the co-executive producer for “College $ports, Inc.” a feature-length Vice documentary investigating the NCAA and the seismic rules shift allowing athletes to make NIL endorsement money. In 2017, he produced “World Beaters,” a "30 for 30" documentary film about the history of the Little League World Series. Additional sports verite projects include “100 Days to Indy,” an in-season docu series following IndyCar drivers chasing their dream of the Indianapolis 500, and “Friday Night Tykes,” a close-up look at the hyper competitive world of youth football in Texas. Spencer has made a special focus on producing retrospective documentaries with social themes that still carry resonance in shaping today’s America. Spencer received a 2017 duPont Award as a producer on "Let It Fall: L.A. 1982-1992," an ABC documentary film about police brutality and the L.A. riots directed by Oscar-winner John Ridley. Also for ABC, he produced "One Night in Central Park,” a television documentary about the 1989 Central Park jogger rape case and the five young men accused of the crime. In 2018, he produced "Truth and Lies: Waco," which tells the story of David Koresh, his Branch Davidians followers and their ill-fated standoff with the federal government. When the two hour documentary special aired on ABC in January 2018, it earned the 2nd highest ratings of the network’s "Truth & Lies" franchise. As a director Spencer’s work has included “The Last Word,” a short form doc series for the History Channel marking the 75th Anniversary of Pearl Harbor. He interviewed 26 remaining veteran survivors on a range of issues from PTSD to Japanese internment camps. He also directed “Toxic Lake,” a digital documentary project for the Weather Channel about Florida’s Lake Okeechobee, Big Sugar and a toxic algae menacing the Sunshine State. It received the 2017 Society for Professional Journalists Award for Best Digital Feature. In 2014 and 2015, Spencer was a co-executive producer at ABC's Lincoln Square Productions serving as the showrunner for "Watt's World," a 13-episode series which aired on the Travel Channel. Prior to that, Spencer produced features, breaking news and investigative reports at ABC News and "HBO Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel." Past projects as founder of Wilking Productions have included outlets like the New York Times, NPR, Vice Media, Wall Street Journal, Esquire Network and the Weather Channel. Spencer graduated from Tulane University with a B.A. and M.A. in History, and has a M.S. from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
