I am a filmmaker, journalist and photographer living and working in La Paz, Bolivia. I have been working throughout this country since 2008, and in January 2014 made it my permanent home. I work largely in marginalized communities, with a focus on rural issues. In the past, I was the Editor-In-Chief of Bolivian Express, a monthly magazine and Bolivia’s largest English language publication. I have worked all over the world as a videographer and filmmaker, sharing stories on a wide spectrum of topics, from the lives of refugee camp residents in Kenya to families caring for autistic children in Northern Ireland. In January 2016 I presented via video call to Storyhunter's first San Francisco ScreenUp event, discussing my work and presenting a video I produced and shot that remains AJ+ Español's most viral video, currently with more than 18m Facebook views.

Nathalie Iriarte is a Bolivian journalist and has a Diploma in International Defense of Human Rights from the University of Zaragoza, Spain. Nathalie worked as a freelance for the past six years and that led her to travel almost all of Latin America researching on women's rights, migration, indigenous rights, and other cultural and human rights issues. Nathalie has interviewed characters such as Mario Vargas Llosa, Henrique Capriles, Gay Talese, Plinio Apuleyo, Estela de Carlotto, among others. Her texts, photographs and videos have been published in media outlets in Bolivia, Mexico, Spain, Guatemala, the United States and England, among other countries. She is a columnist for the Washington Post and works as a writer and video journalist with news outlets such as AJ+, Vice News, BBC, Channel 4 and others. She was a finalist in the 2015 Gabriel García Márquez Award, honorable mention in the 2014 Carmen Goes Award (Spain), first Mention in the 2014 Bolivian Chronicle Award and Honorable Mention 2015 SIP Award. She was a US Government Fellow in a Research journalism program in 2014 and is part of CONNECTAS, the largest collaborative journalism platform in the Americas. Nathalie currently resides in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, and works as the general editor of Forbes magazine in Bolivia. She also teaches economic and investigative journalism workshops and is a teacher at the Master of Journalism of the Evangelical Bolivian University.

Sara Aliaga Ticona, Bolivian social communicator, photojournalist and Aymara visual artist. As a photographer and storyteller I conceive photography as a social instrument of identity reconquest, where the transversal axes of my visual research converge around gender and identity, human rights, the climate crisis and the special impact it has on indigenous peoples. Walter Astrada, 1974, Argentina. Started as a staff photographer at La Nación. He would later join Associated Press (AP)  in Bolivia and later in Argentina, Paraguay and the Dominican Republic. He’s worked as a freelancer for Agence France Presse (AFP) in the Dominican Republic from 2005 to 2006, and was represented and distributed by World Picture News.   During 2008 and 2009 he covered Eastern Africa, out of Uganda. He works as a freelancer and had finalized two long-term projects, one about violence against women, and the other—the Under Pressure Project—about people with multiple sclerosis in Europe.   He’s completed two long term reportage stories.
