Hello friend! My name is Jason, and I wanted to tell you a little bit about who I am and how I got here. I grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, where as a young kid, I earned the nickname, Creative Boy, due to my constant outflow of youthful creative energy. Whether it was performing for my family, building things out of toilet paper rolls, writing stories on the Word Processor, filming skits with my cousin, or learning how to use a computer, I was constantly pushing the limits of my creative mind. In 2003, I ended up in New York City, where I went to NYU Film School and earned my BFA. My college education set the foundation for a career in the arts and entertainment industry. And I’ve had an incredible career so far! I’ve traveled the world with my video camera in hand, from Beijing to Haiti, Bonnaroo to SXSW, and the Grammys to the Oscars. I’ve gotten the chance to talk to amazing people, film and edit inspiring stories, and make friends, all while staying true to my creative nature and drive! My passion is telling stories, and I’ve found that the best way for me to do that is through documentary filmmaking. Documentaries allow me to craft a story, and put the puzzle pieces into the right place. I can apply my skills as a musician as well, as music and rhythm are a huge part of any documentary project. Katie G. Nelson is an award-winning journalist, photographer and filmmaker from Minneapolis, MN. She covers human rights, racial justice and global health in the United States and East Africa. She is currently based in New York City, NY. Katie’s work has been published by The New York Times, National Geographic, BBC, Al Jazeera, Frontline PBS, The Telegraph, Associated Press and Public Radio International. Currently, Katie is most well known for her visual coverage of George Floyd’s murder for The New York Times. Danny Ghitis (b. 1982) is an editorial and commercial photographer whose personal projects revolve around the relationship between memory and identity. The son of Jewish South American immigrants, he moved around a lot as a child, which helped him to develop a lifelong interest in documenting the lives of strangers and culturally ambiguous communities. With his work he attempts to pose questions, rather than answers, to challenge expectations and encourage introspection. Leah Galant is a Jewish filmmaker and Fulbright Scholar based in New York whose storytelling focuses on unexpected narratives that challenge perceptions. In 2021 she was recognized as one of DOC NYC’s 40 under 40. While at Ithaca College in 2015 she was named one of Variety’s "110 Students to Watch in Film and Media” for her work on THE PROVIDER that follows a traveling abortion doctor in Texas (SXSW 2016, Student Emmy Award) and BEYOND THE WALL about a formerly incarcerated individuals re-entry process. She was a Sundance Ignite and Jacob Burns Fellow where she created DEATH METAL GRANDMA (SXSW 2018) about a 97 year old Holocaust survivor named Inge Ginsberg who sings death metal which won “Best Documentary” at the American Pavilion at Cannes Film Festival, and is a NY Times Op Doc. Leah is a member of Meerkat Media worker-cooperative film production company. Leah's directorial debut ON THE DIVIDE premiered at the Tribeca 2021 Film Festival and will broadcast on POV PBS in the Spring of 2022 which she also shot.

Aristide Economopoulos is freelance photographer in the New York City metropolitan area. His experience includes over two decades with NJ Advance Media / The Star-Ledger where he specialized in documentary essays and covered a variety of topics from international conflict, urban violence, natural disasters, politics to local community news and professional and prep sports.
