Rustom Seegopaul is a professional content producer with almost two decades of experience in communications, production, content design for behavioral change, as well as media logistics coordination and distribution. His key areas of expertise include the development, implementation, monitoring and measuring of communications strategies and strategic communications initiatives, advertising and branding, targeted advocacy design, media production (both in traditional and new media), social media monitoring, asset creation, content distribution, training, visual storytelling and as a media liaison. Rustom has considerable experience working with the development and monitoring of communication and behavioral change strategies and initiatives in Guyana, Malaysia, China and Cambodia, and has had the opportunity to work with a number of organizations in the international news fraternity, the public and private sectors and extensively within the international donor community - the United Nations Children's Fund, the United Nations High Commission for Refugees, the International Office of Migration, the Canadian International Development Agency through the Canadian Institute of Planners, the World Wildlife Fund, and Conservation International. He has a Master’s Degree in International Multimedia Journalism from the University of Bolton (UK) and a Bachelors Degree in Mass Communication from Curtin University of Technology (Australia). His work has been published and displayed in China, Canada, Cambodia, the United States and in his home country Guyana, where he is the two time winner of the Loyola Documentary Film Festival. Rustom is currently based in Moldova and is exploring cultural change and human movement with regard to the ongoing conflicts in continental Europe.

I've worked in the print and broadcast media in Guyana for the past 15 years. I currently work as News Anchor with a daily newscast in Guyana, while working as the Guyana Stringer for Reuters and contributing to several publications in and outside of Guyana. I have a strong interest in climate change and health reporting, but I cover any topic. I have twice won scholarships from the International Aids Society to attend and report from their conferences from Toronto and Sydney, and I have also won fellowships to attend and report from UN Climate Change conferences in Copenhagen and Cancun. I have a passion for world cultures, foods and languages. I speak English, Guyanese Creole and a bit of Mandarin Chinese.

Kojo McPherson is a Guyanese writer, spoken word artist, photographer and filmmaker. Kojo served on the scriptwriting team of popular Guyanese radio serial drama, Merundoi, for 4 ½ years. He has made three short films, 'Beached’, 'To the Night', and ‘Standing’. He is the winner of the CineCaribe screenplay competition and the RBC Focus - Filmmaker's Immersion best project & pitch competition. Kojo is the proud father of two girls, Kinaya and Mapenzi, with his partner Guyana Prize winning playwright Mosa Telford.

As far as I can remember, I've always had an overactive imagination. This worked in my favour growing up as the fourth of five children in a single parent home in Guyana's capital city, Georgetown. As you may've guessed, finances were limited, so toys weren't a priority. I had to make do with the little that was available to me. This meant that a dying fruit tree in the backyard became a military helicopter for special forces missions, and the backyard (in general) alternated between my personal version of the Star Wars type galaxies (each plant being a world of it's own) and the battlefront of the many wars my mind conjured up. As I grew, so did my imagination and my desire to create and tell stories. Today, I tell stories for a living. I design innovative, multifaceted strategies and approaches tailored to nurture meaningful connections between companies/causes/public individuals and the communities in which they serve and desire to create to a strong customer base and an enduring brand loyalty. About Oyetayo O.

Oyetayo Raymond Ojoade born from the cross- cultural union between a Trinidadian mother and Nigerian father began his technical career in computer graphics in Lagos, Nigeria. His interest in still art and photography stimulated by a Bachelor of Technology degree in Industrial Design (Graphics) obtained at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University of Technology Bauchi, Nigeria (1997-2001), further developed a curiosity in ‘moving pictures’, thus, his interest in film. As such, pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film at the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine campus, Trinidad where he excelled in courses such as editing, photography, cinematography and documentary making. He has directed and produced five short films and one feature – A documentary entitled Bottom in De Road (2015), The Madonna Murti (2013), a feature documentary, an investigative documentary entitled Who Let the Dogs Out (2008), an animated narrative film Suck Meh Soucouyant, Suck Meh (2009), Shouters and the Control Freak Empire (2010), a documentary that was screened at the Columbia Gorge International Film Festival, Vancouver, Washington in August 2011. Oyetayo’s choice in subject matter for his documentary films is fed by the duality that is a result of his cross-cultural heritage and the rich intercultural experiences nourished by both his mother’s land and his father’s heart. Oyetayo, who grew up with his parents in Nigeria where his father Professor J. Olowo Ojoade has been a lecturer in the University of Jos since 1972 and Professor of African folklore there from 1981 to the present, has inherited from his father an interest in a rich social and cultural heritage and Oyetayo seeks to preserve this through audio-visual means, creating awareness where necessary of the social problems inherent in some areas. As a producer and editor, Oyetayo looks forward to developing his skills in the field of documentary making in Trinidad and Tobago. Ojoade’s latest film Bottom in De Road came about as a result of his cross-cultural background again. Living in Nigeria for the most part of his life he was accustomed seeing women dressing more conservatively. Most times they would wear loose clothing that covered their backsides. Occasionally one might see a university student wearing tight fitting jeans. In some places she went she would get harassed. Moving to Trinidad as an adult Oyetayo noticed ladies and young girls wearing all sorts of clothing revealing their bottoms. Even though they were being teased by the opposite sex, Ojoade did not see it as being harassed. This was a bit of a culture shock to him.
