Hello, I’m Melwin from Hyderabad, India. I am a Producer/Director who started my story-telling journey at the cusp of digital revolution. For over the past decade, I have been obsessed with film making as a medium to tell stories. I had to the opportunity to start my filmmaking journey early on, After high school, my friends & I picked up a DSLR & started making short films and uploading them on YouTube. We learnt the nuances of filmmaking and soon enough our videos started to get recognized and appreciated. After four years of figuring out & learning the craft whilst still in college, mastering the technical aspects of digital filmmaking, I started a video production house, COUCH POTATO PRODUCTIONS. Over the past 5 years we have worked across India on over 200+ projects, from documentaries and corporate films, AD films, music videos and so on. We have multiple production partners across the country and have also worked with government agencies and several brands to create high quality content.
