Zeki was born in Turkey, Izmit. He started his education in Cinema and Television in the Turkey and completed it in the UK. He graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Cinema and Television at the Canakkale 18 Mart University. Currently he continues his sociology education as a second major. He studied media studies at the popular Bahiya Television in Spain with the Leonardo project. He also took photography educations in London. During his career he was able to get into topics and areas which were never touched in turkish documentary. The Omo Valley tribal life, the Madagascar ded-turning ritual and the Pakistani iguana oil sellers are a couple of those extraordinary projects to mention. He won the MoonLife Award with the best certificate of the year. Zeki continously presents topics showing new perspectives to undiscovered and maybe even misunderstood cultures of the world. His work contributes to the communication and understanding among human beings on our planet. EDITOR/COLORIST/DIRECTOR An experienced filmmaker based in Istanbul with a demonstrated history of working in the media production industry since 2007. I finished my masters in 2016 in media, and my graduation research was about the role of editing in films. In 2015 I participated with my first short documentary film “A Homeless Pride” as a Director and editor in Al Jazeera Documentary Film Festival, I had an honorable mention (Best Five). I have a remarkable relationship with our clients some of them we have been working together for more than 6 years, although they have editing departments in their companies.
