I was a one man band, including writing and editing, for this SexyGrammar.com promo. AC and Second Camera operator for fashion video produced by ARay Studio. Director Joe Sikoryak. Best Documentary, AfterGlow FF, Premiered at Cinequest 23, still playing at film festivals and gaming conventions around the world 3 years after it's release. For 3 years we filmed with radical anti-Gentrification protesters in the predominately hispanic neighborhood of Boyle Heights in Los Angeles as they used black bloc-style tactics to fight back against encroaching artwashing wave of Art Galleries and Coffeeshops. Premiered at the Cannes Film Festival 2019. Wrote, produced and directed a video for UCLA Labor Occupational Safety and Health program and the United Steelworkers celebrating their legislative victory for Process Safety Management. The challenge was finding an emotional hook for a potentially dry subject. Produced a 2 minute and 30 second broadcast cut for a company in Silicon Valley. Worked with C-suite to shape their communications strategy to write, produce and direct this strategy for the product launch. This video includes a welcome message and commentary from top spokespersons from the Olympic Organizing Committee. Viewers will be able to immerse themselves in key locations from all over Rio de Janeiro including local staples (Copacabana beach, Christ the Redeemer, as well as favelas) and sports venues (such as the Maracana soccer stadium) that will host the Olympic Games. As Brazil has been plagued with rampant stories of corruption, in the wake of the national Petrobras scandal, and now as the country faces the looming threat of its President’s impeachment, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that the reaction of many Brazilians to the Olympics - and the billions invested in this endeavor - is a mixed bag, to say the least. A simple tale of love on drugs.
